Recipe for a single Mint Julep Cocktail

  • 3 ounces of bourbon
  • 1.5 tablespoons of simple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon (or a splash more) of water
  • Crushed ice
  • Sprig of mint
  1. Toss a couple of mint leaves in the bottom of a Julep cup.
  2. Fill the cup with crushed ice.
  3. Add the simple syrup, the bourbon, and the water.
  4. Stir quickly to frost the cup.
  5. Garnish with a fresh sprig of mint, and enjoy!
