The first U.S. priest made his profession in the Institute of Jesus the Priest--founded by Blessed James Alberione, SSP, for diocesan priests, taking the vows of chastity, poverty, obedience and a fourth vow of fidelity to the Holy Father.
We are in the Year of the Priest. And I want to share some great news with you about one priest in particular... and his new Family.
Just this past week Fr. Michael Harrington, a diocesan priest of the Archdiocese of Boston, professed the vows of Poverty, Chastity, Obedience, and Fidelity to the Pope according to the statutes of the Institute of Jesus the Priest, a branch of the Pauline Family founded by Blessed James Alberione.
It's that time again... Thanksgiving! It is just a couple of weeks away. So, what are you doing for Thanksgiving?
A turkey recipe, sweet potato & apple casserole recipe, feedback, a book review and more! That's what's on the menu today. I also share about our upcoming renewal of vows in the Holy Family Institute. Char and I are very excited about this! I hope to post some pics next week.
