Food Photo Frenzy

I'm not alone!!!!

Yes, sometimes they are embarrassed. When we are in public. Yes, they. Anyone who happens to be at table with me when I whip out my camera (or iPhone) and start snapping pictures of... my food.

Is it a habit? An addiction? Some strange compulsion that drives me to snap before I eat?

CF69 - Of Dates and Feasts

What a feast!Lots of post-Easter feasting and... lots of dates recently.

Yes, dates. As in dates with my wife.

We don't often have the chance to get away together by ourselves. Christopher, Annabelle, and Grace usually stick close to us.

But this week has been different. And we tell you all about it here on episode 69 of the Catholic Foodie, where food meets faith!

Benedicimus Domine

What an awesome episode!

We are so blessed to have Nick Padley of In Between Sundays (inbetweensundays.com) with us on the show. We talk about so much: St. Benedict, food, wine, beer, prayer, blessings, the Eucharist, the blessing before meals, and St. Benedict's power over the devil. Wow! What an episode!

Thank you for joining us here at the Catholic Foodie, where food meets faith!

Where Does Food Meet Faith in Your Life?

Tagged:

One of the main goals of the Catholic Foodie is to highlight "...Where food meets faith!"

A couple of weeks ago, as a promotion of Zatarain's Jambalaya Throwdown, I issued my own throwdown. And the challenge? Comment on ways that food meets faith in your own life. Here are some of the comments I received:
